Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Good tip on the move arrows, Bubble.  Sometimes those sliders can be a big problem especially if it is a day when the hand tremors are really bothering me.

Love is cute, Bubble.  I like the image tube that you used and I also like the geometric look of the background in the graphic.  Not so crazy about the second one.  What does Szamanta mean?  Background is a little too busy for my taste.

It is the name Samantha in Hungarian I believe.

I was speaking earlier about my problems with sliders and with perspective and depth. In my basics class, I had such an issue. Those tutorials where you are to do a number of steps and then it says to hit the delete key once?

Often I check my history palette as I literally see no difference. I also have some other visual issues like when a gradient type is shown with a black background. Anyway, my mod sent it back saying I hadn't done step five. I redid, it was returned again. I tried a third time, returned.

I emailed her privately of my not seeing it and she had me take the pattern, fuse my attempt to it and then delete once, (shown below). I sent it in, she accepted it with a now onto the next lesson.I lined up all the attempts and other than the first one looking not as sharp, I saw no real difference. I hate that I don't see what others do so clearly!

I agree with Phyliss about Love and about Szamanta. However, from recent experience, I know how hard these tutorials can be and the lessons learned. The background shows a lot of work.

Phyllis, wait until you see lesson #89 and lesson #92!

Angel, now you've got me nervous about those lessons.     :-\

I did this one this morning....very early.  Changed the foreground color to better match my image.  It was kind of fun.
I liked the cats image that was supplied.

Phyllis,  I like how you changed that lesson! I save everything in lesson folders, even copy in what image or images I used, to have later. I am not as assured as you are to do more than basic changes! I am awaiting your "space frog" of lesson 88!

I have eye issues, no depth perception or peripheral vision, doctors say I have two-dimensional, rather than three-dimensional vision, so I have some issues when doing these lessons, but overall, just need to find new ways to get around them instead of settling.

Bubble, in "SORTILEGE," I see what you mean about squatting in air. In "Margaret," I love that sweater the tube is wearing. Its a nice  if a bit confusing graphic. I thought she was looking at flowers on an inside  table. But it changed into a deck and rowboats?

Marilyn

I have been in and out of here  looking at everything and not commenting.  Just letting you all know that I do look at your images and ooo and aaah them.

Marilyn and we are doing the same with the graphics you post!

I turned in lesson #94 today to my mod and while I wasn't sure, thus turning in two, upon reflection, I like the flowers better. I hope I don't frustrate my mod!  >:(

Anyhoo here they are, and I have to tell you that the sliders on Mura Meister's filters do not work with the arrows.

Definitely the big flowers are best: at least that lady is standing on the floor and not on the wall lol

Marilyn, the swans and waterfall: I wish these would have some reflections on the water or perspective shadows- the fall does reflect it seems.
I loved the French rooster walking off the frame!

I called that Rooster on chicken dance because I but it into a stationery with the Chicken dance song.

Angel I like the one with the big flowers too.

Bubble i agree some reflections of the swans would have been nice too or the other parts of the background like the sun and the trees.

This is a quick post and I will be back later for any comments, etc.

Last night I was playing with arithmetic and blends.

Angel I really like what you did in the above blend.

Good morning everyone and thank you for the comments on my using arithmetic and blended graphic! I belong to a group called "nothing cute here," which is a group of people that enjoy creating as long as it isn't saccharine sweet.

One of the first I've belonged to that seems to have as many guys as girls and some names from the PSP heyday. I mentioned that I liked to do rooms, furniture and that type and was on the lookout for fireplaces and accessories.

I received a ton and also was told that there is a web group that does nothing but rooms. Unfortunately, I was also told they have a strict way of doing things so just filed the group's addy for now.

They have one day a week for PSP news and hints on doing things easier, a new item put out for new graphics, tubes or other PSP articles and that type, among others.  So far, I've happily collected, wine tubes, bee tubes, and this week its globes.

I really am learning from this group and like that there is nothing cute, AC or SAC, religious, political or posers. And no tutorials unless they tie in with the weekly tube such as some sent in wine labels and masks, tutorials and masks.

Bubble, your "Flight," is amazing!

Here is my lesson #95.

Lesson #96, the original called for a red background and a gyspy tube.
