Jane,  What a great project for you and your grand daughter to be able to share in.   I think that was a really good idea of using some of the friends in this special group.  Thank you for including me.

My niece had to do something like that one time when she was in college.  I think it is good that that age gets to learn a little bit about how "older people" live out their lives. 

It will be interesting to hear about some of the other conversations you have with her. 

You know when there is such a varied group of personalities, you will get a lot of different ideas about so many things.  I think this group here all seem to really get along so well and nice that everyone feels good about voicing their different opinions about so many things.  That is what makes the world go round !!!!!  What a dull life this would be if we all thought alike.

Hope we all will keep up "our good work".

MaryAnn, so happy that Alicia is doing well and hope things will continue  going in the right direction.

Jane,  what part of Maryland does your daughter live?  I think you probably have mentioned it before, but I have forgotten.  Nice that she is spending a couple days with you, (even tho you will be working part of the time.  Just don't let Joan know about it. lol ) I know you will enjoy spending time with her.

I am glad that you have a good strong bar in your bathtub (or shower)....    That and a good mat can make a big difference in your safety .....   (At least mine does in my bath room...   My shower has four bars  ... one on each end and two the length of the tub...   For these,  I am very grateful.

Thanks to those of you who answered about the sharing of information with Natalie.  There are no names involved but they've heard me talk about all of you for so long.  Natalie is working on her Master's Degree and wants to be a personal counselor for people with problems when she finishes. 

The people that I named were not the only ones referred to and I'll share anything that I can with all of you.  Thanks for not minding.

I came to the realisation a couple of days ago that in the four weeks that I have been in Israel I have not seen a single hockey game, football or soccer match and haven't even checked the scores.  And today I won't see the super bowl. The point I want to make is that I am not in the least troubled by this and completely at peace with it. This definitely proves that that there is life beyond sports and life will go on.
