Now I wonder why they couldn't use your bathroom. I have seen them working around town.  I know that people have them working in their home building new kitchens and bathroom.  I also see them at the clinics waiting for Dr. Appt. Next time will have to watch and see if they go to the restrooms. Going to have to find out.
Now I see their pants are made different. Wear suspenders and they button up to the top. No fly opening. would have to pull down. I am curious now.

Joy, my neighbor across the street last year bought a Amish shed, and they delivered it, put it together. The only thing they arrived before 6 in the morning. You are not suppose to start any thing noisey till after 9AM here in the park.  You are not suppose to mow your lawn after 7PM, or mow on sunday.

It does seem that all the Amish get up early.  I have left home driving south really early and they are out farming soon as sun up.  I suppose they go to bed early also as they don't have Electricity in homes. Just lamps. No TV for them.  I heard that some do now have a Mobile phone for emergencies.  Phone sheds are what they use around here which means you have to go out in Winter to use them.
Soon they will be getting some of this Technology that doesn't need to be plugged in to power. You can bet the young ones will. I caught them once playing a Guitar and drinking beer.  They do have a period when about 16 I think were they can get out and about. So to make up mind what they want to do.

Jack.  Their population sure did grow fast. That is now becoming a problem. We have it in ours . Quite a lot of them but the thing is that the families so big that when it comes to getting married as so many are cousins and so what is having to be done is send some of their sons out to other states and same with the girls so that the bloodlines are not first generation.  Getting so many marrying 2nd cousins. That has to have gone even years ago.  Get so many with the same Surnames around here.
Very seldom have I seen them in Europe other that in Switzerland still some. 

Seems such a long time since I last went anyway where I took my camera along but, I was reminded within 10-15 minutes to spare ( although luck had, it left an hour later than advertised...) so with just a short car drive to our chosen viewing stop off,  ( we could have ventured further to the coast, the touristy part for a closer view, but my walking as you know, is not good, and I am worse amongst crowds...) but surprisingly between the hours of 7 & 8.pm, this place which can get very packed during the day, was surprisingly empty apart from the odd dog walker or back packer...the car park is the entrance to the well known Smugglers Inn Restaurant, a place I sadly cant get down to, far too steep, but...the overlooking sea from their car park was well worth the journey to see the first ever visit to our shores of Portland Island, a road to Island journey from Weymouth, where the cruise ship.....the Disney Magic had docked for the day in the port, and was soon to be taking off on the rest of its journey...I believe this cruise trip includes " Port Canaveral, Florida to Copenhagen.."

Well with the help of binoculars and camera zoom, I managed to put together something watchable...

What a beautiful area.  Too bad you couldn't get down the steps to the restaurant.  I wouldn't have been able to do that either.  But, such a nice view from where you were.  That is exciting for a Disney cruise ship to come to that port.   That would be quite a trip across the Atlantic Ocean on a Disney ship.

I am with you, Jean.  I would love to do a Disney cruise, even without any little ones.  I have only been on one cruise and would love to go again.  Anywhere would be fine.  I would love to be able to use my passport, at least, one more time.

Well, Jackie, I am furious at my computer because it won't let me see your links.... says I need to install Flash since it comes with the Chrome browser I use.  But after more than an hour trying to understand "their" directions, still can't find what their help site shows.  Glad to see you post, been quite a while & I was concerned about you.  Glad to see you back!

Another day of working on the sprinkler system, making sure the pool chlorine is at the perfect level so the water sparkles... and trying to keep up with 4 cats.  Mama Callie has decided to hang out with the other 3, so she comes inside for meals & snacks when they do.  She is such a sweet & gentle cat I just can't close the door in her face..... when she eats her last meal of the day she goes into HER garage.  Keeps me busy.  Be glad to get all the house chores taken care of, always do double time in the spring, but this year has been over the top. 

Jack, I had a phone call so haven't tried your link yet.... must figure how to install Flash... hate Windows 10 because I used to know how to change settings & download what was needed. 

Need a nap but haven't fed anyone but Tommy.... he is always ready for a meal.  During the winter they want their supper about 4:00 pm but they have been waiting later & later as the days get longer.  Got to take care of them before tackling this computer & Flash!  

I've gone through the steps to download Flash 3 times, do everything it says but still get the pop up when I click on your links for Photo Peach, that I need to download Flash!!!  I am not going to fight it any more tonight.  Tomorrow,tomorrow.......

...maybe a daft question but, do you already have " flash? " ( I am assuming so, since it is telling you, it comes with your Chrome browser, ) if so maybe it has been disabled, you need to then enable - activate it, as mine recently was when I couldn't see nor play Jacqui Lawson cards, when previously I could, as I too am with Chrome...Even that took me a long time in fathoming out how to do it..or maybe you already have flash but it just needs updating...I am not a computer genius, only wish I was..maybe someone else will come along and advise you...I would sure not like you missing everyone's videos..

Jackie, that is the problem.... this does have flash & says it is disabled.... but I go through all the directions and still can't find how to activate it again!  I know I have a mental block about finding settings & how to do things with Windows 10, but this is ridiculous.  I thought maybe a good night sleep would activate my brain but that failed, too.  When my son comes there's too many other problems to take care of to mess with computers. Thanks for the sympathy.

Mary Ann, that is what my son says as well. He uses Firefox or Foxfire.... I tried & never like changes so have never updated it. My own fault & guess I will have to change one thing or another.

Beautiful day.  Did some yard work, then joined my son and neighbor friend for a few beer.  Was home at 7 and rushed Mimi to the park.  Used the hyperlapse app on the phone, put the phone on the bench next to me, and here is a time lapse of the passing clouds.    Check full screen.

Jack, those are the types of clouds we've had for two days.  Absolutely beautiful and so relaxing.  Mimi looked relaxed too.

I couldn't help but think of the spectacular clouds that Shirley posts in Kansas.  Quite a comparison.

Mary Ann.   Shirleys are beautiful but she gets some mean ones.  Mine was time lapse and the clouds were not moving by so fast, just sped up with the program. 

Guess what?   I am on Chrome & clicked on your clouds, Jack, and it played!  No rhyme or reason but it worked.  Now if I could just get it to quit shutting off every time I stop to think (not kidding, seconds).... I have to sign in again & brings back whatever I am doing.  Not going to change things, seems this computer has a mind of its own.  The old Vista worked with PSP tonight so I could make a birthday card for my "little Troll Doll".... she is 3 today.  One problem on that computer is I can't post in here from it... it has lost my login password and refuses to take the one that works on this one.  Maybe another update will fix it, I can't fight the wizard hiding in these things.      Beautiful clouds, I did get "goose bumps" & a shiver as I watched..... they looked peaceful.  Do not know how you do that, which camera?

Jackie I love watching the clouds, and some even melt away in the sky.   Sat about 15 minutes with the IPhone sitting on the bench.  Just petted Mimi and enjoyed the quiet minutes.

Used an app that I believe works on both phones and pads.   It is called Hyperlapse.  It does the time lapse but also helps to steady movement.  Can walk holding the phone and not have all the jerking.   

Short and interesting tutorial worth watching, and better examples than mine.
