Interesting challenge. I look forward to viewing entries.
Bubble, a good one, and looks like you were enjoying, and possibly singing.
:)
So P bubble, love it...thats the way, never let a drop of rain spoil a good day.....
Oh yes we had fun, we were on the way to the Musical Instruments museum.
The locals on the street thought we were mad ha ha ha...
I love it!
Way to go Bubble! And I would have loved to go to the museum as well!
So far, so great! Smack bang on the subject.

Jack, how lovely! I would want a copy of that statue so full of joie de vivre. I bet birds like it too.
Bubble thank you. That fountain is in the garden of a local mansion just several blocks from my home.
Wanted to call your attention to a posting by Sachiko, dealing with Singing in the Rain, but it is not a photo, here is the link to her post.
It makes me smile every time I view it

Sachiko is very talented. Thanks for reminding me of this charming sketch.
ALPINER - I was delighted to see your post of the CALIFORNIA LIQUID SUNSHINE. CA is my home State, although I now live in Concord, North Carolina.
I recall when I was much younger I would join a neighbor friend and go out to SPLASH around in the rain. If others saw us outside, they often came out also and it was almost like "a Band of Drippy Young Ladies," but surely had fun.
Molly rain is a beautiful sight here ! I even took a video of it raining on this same day . I'm originally from Oregon . Who would have thought I would miss the rain ? But I do !
Rutumi, I love "Singing!"
"If yuh can't beat 'em, drown 'em out" or some such thing. There was a lot of rain going on that day 8)
Jeanne Lee, thank you for posting. (I spelled Baily wrong -- it's Bailey.)
Notice the bridal group to the left. It seems to be a popular place to use as a background for photography. But you have to be careful of the wind that storms up a lot of spray :surrender: :)
Some good entries!
Grew up in the inner city and recall when they would turn on the hydrants on a hot day, or the joy of being out in the rain and puddles and never bothering with an umbrella.
ALPINER - I really smiled when I read your post RE living in Oregon. I was born in Los Angeles, but moved with family to Portland, OR as a child, so I surely do recall that State and the beautiful experiences there. I particularly recall receiving my very first kid's size bright RED umbrella and matching red rain boots. They were a Christmas gift and I treasured them into my teen years, although of course I didn't use them that long).
[14] Trying to see if I remember. been awhile
Just to let you know, in a few hours from now Bubble will be boarding a plane to Canada; she'll be in London Ontario on Friday for 3 weeks. Pictures to follow.
