Does anyone else like to watch the HGTV show, Fixer Upper, with Chip and Joanna?  ....................................................
I watch it fairly regularly.  I like a few of the "Fix-It-Up" shows.  Then there are some I don't care for - as my son would say, "contrived".

Once in a while I watch "First Time Flippers".  I see it more as a comedy than instructional.

Alpiner....Iíve postponed them, too, when Iím just not in the mood or think itís just too much.  They have never found anything on those dental xrays, and that bothers me.

Good evening, beautiful day.  Joy, am  now a late person,  For years I use to have leave the house at 5:30AM to have the office open for all the preopts, I had to admit. I said when I retired from the hospital I was not going to get up early

Larry, I had to like fish, as my family were all fishermen.  During the depression my mother said you always had to keep salt pork, potatoes in the house. We would never starve to death.  There was always a bushel of potatoes, bushel of clams and oysters in the garage.  Can you imagine what those clams and oysters would be worth to day

Jane, I sure did enjoy seeing Mandy, after 3 long years

June, glad to see your post,  I like your idea, put the sheets right back on.

MaryAnn, I had one unhappy cat, as Mandy had her golden with her who, had never been close to a cat. I had to keep Taffy in the bedroom all day. My neighbor who love Taffy  came over yesterday, and we were both laughing, as Taffy talk to her about 5 min. as if to tell her how badly she had been treated

Carol, safe trip, feel better.

Gloria, I am still recovering, To day I took my coffee out on the deck, put my feet up and read the paper and enjoyed the sun

Does anyone else like to watch the HGTV show, Fixer Upper, with Chip and Joanna?  I saw a brand new one a couple of nights ago that was really good, and a departure from the usual home renovations that they are famous for.  Now they seem to be focused on large scale improvements, all around the city of Waco.

First they bought The Silo's, and put in a bakery, and a number of other boutique style shops.  After that, they did a Bed and Breakfast Inn.  Now theyíve purchased a large old restaurant, that looks to be on a busy corner in town. They remodeled the whole interior, and added outdoor patio seating, play area, gift shop, etc.  Of course, when they were finished, it was absolutely gorgeous!  It showed the grand opening, with people lined up to get in.  I'm sure it will be a success, as everything they touch, turns to gold.

I understand that Joanna is expecting another baby, (#5), so it will be interesting to see if she slows down a little, or is able to continue on with the show and the remodeling projects?

MaryAnn, I use to have snow drops, but I have not seen them in the last few years.  My coral bells still  come up, next to my butter fly bush, which really grew tall. I had Keith cut it way back.   Last year I only saw one Monarch butterfly. We use to have so many. I also plan to buy some hanging baskets.  I also will buy a pot with mixed plants for one of myplanters
