Just a heads up to everyone. I will be moving the site to a new server in the next week or two. This is being done to migrate everything to a new version of the operating system (it's easier to migrate to a new server with the new version than to upgrade an existing one). The move shouldn't take very long but the site will be unavailable for a short time while the various ISPs update their servers to point things to the new server.
I'll post more here when I have a better idea of when the move will take place.
Thank you for letting us know and thank you for all you are doing for us.
One further update... I am planning to do the move late Monday night (early Tuesday morning for those in the UK/Europe). The downtime should be minimal but it might take a couple days for your ISP to update their system (my experience is that it usually doesn't take anywhere near that long but you never can be too sure).
I will also leave the old server up for a few days at least until I'm sure everything is working properly.
Thanks Michael. I hope the move will go without a itch :)
Today the site was striking :'(
It just came back online after being off since yesterday!
Fixed yet again. I'm looking into what's going on at the moment and apologize for the downtime today.
Thanks, Oldiesmann. Well done.
Server move went smoothly as expected :)
Sent you a PM.....
RAMMEL, sent you a PM..

Several are still locked out of old forum plus new one.
Thank you for all your hard work..know it can't be easy.. ..
I'm still looking into the issues. I'm not sure why some are seeing errors like the site doesn't exist at all.
I believe I've finally worked out the issues. Let me know if anyone else is still having trouble getting in.
I am in :) Problems resolved, except for a very small detail.
The shout box will not stay closed. It opens up every time I pass from one discussion to another. It's very annoying. A gremlin in my setting?
Pleeeease Michael, look into it when you have a minute? Thanks.
Bubble, I was having that same annoying issue along with some other issues using the pluses and minuses. I finally solved the chat feature by clicking on the second minus sign after Updated Topics.
There are some minor issues in features that were left out of our personal profiles but that's just an inconvenice.

That works too, but will also hide anything else in that "panel" if I should ever decide to add anything else up there (which is unlikely because the shoutbox takes up so much space, but you never know :P)
Thanks for the hint, Angel. Perfect now!
The issue with the blocks is due to a bug. I've filed an error with the developers of the portal system and will update the code here as soon as they have a fix (or as soon as I have time to dig through the code and figure out the fix myself, whichever comes first :P)
Thanks Michael, good luck :) These bugs can be a nuisance to identify.

That's a known bug with this version of the forum software. I believe it's already been fixed but am holding off on upgrading until changes related to GDPR (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GDPR) are finished so I don't have to upgrade twice in a short amount of time. It looks like the developers are about finished with that so hopefully I can get those fixes in place soon :)

Developers fixed the bug so things have been updated here as well.
Thanks, our blessed Guru!
