Keith:  Thanks again for the update on Gloria de - your terrific auntie.  Your messages are very welcome.

Denver

Good morning.

WOW, GLORIA,  27 inches is a lot of snow!  Sure glad that you never lost your power.  Haha...no witch around!  I had pictures from our Boston Son this morning of the two boys with their snow shovels standing in very deep snow....it appears they got a similar amount as you did.  I could see the sun was shinning and it looked beautiful.  Thank you for your kind words.

LARRY, with melanoma they say they can’t use the MOHs.  He will have the basil cell one done next Wednesday and they will do MOHs on it.  The doc took out a large amount yesterday, but did not close it up.  She waits now for the pathology report and will take more if needed or will sew him up on next Tuesday.  We did not expect to have it be this long of time before we would know.....so he has a big wrap around his head.  Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

CAROL, you are right....taint fun dealing with all the stuff that life throws our way!

CALLIE, I love blossoming fruit trees....they are so pretty.  We had pear trees when I was growing up, and my mom would can them....they were yummy.  Sorry you are dealing with that yellow dust from you cedar trees....now that we sure could live without!  My cold is somewhat better, but still coughing.  Thank you, and I appreciate your kind word for Bob.

AMY....AMY.... please do not let ANY grass grow under your feet today, as you might not be able to accomplish all of your planned tasks! 🤪🤪. You are quite the inspiration, lady!  Thank you for your kind words and prayers.

JANE,I hope your day at work is easier than yesterday.

Thinking about you, GLORIA de, and praying you are resting easy this morning and feeling stronger.

JUNE, I hope your day has started off well and you will enjoy the day.

Sunshine and warmer temps today, so I hope to get out and soak up as much vitamin D as I can!

THANK YOU, KEITH for the update on Gloria.

Have a great day, EVERYFRIEND!

Jenny, if I let the grass grow I would only have to mow it!!! :2funny:
I did get both vehicles washed, dried and tidied up...having two dogs that always love to go can make a vehicle hairy!

Larry, the nesting of the seams were a problem on this one. Pat can explain how we like to have all the seams nest right. I have 3  kits coming to me on Fri so I am not sure if I shall start another quilt today or just tidy up my sewing room. Mercy it is a mess!!!

Keith, you are doing fantastic  on the site and you just may want to join us if you have time. Give Gloria de a BIG hug from us all please.

Keith, thank you so much for your message.  You are doing fine in posting the messages - keep them coming.  It is so good to hear Gloria may go home tomorrow.  She's quite a trouper.  Give Gloria my love and best wishes.

Jenny, I did not realize how serious Bob's skin cancer was.  I see I was very lucky with my skin cancer because the doctor could use the MOHS method.  I had the first two types of cancer and I can't remember the name of either type.  I hope all goes well.

I'm home and I'm tired.  I got a short register for the first half of my shift and one of the worst possible ones for Friday for the last half.  It was non-stop full cartloads but it did have a redeeming feature.  3 of my favorite customers came through my line and another couple came through who said, "We're going to look for you every time we shop".

Keith, I'm so glad to hear that Gloria de is getting such good treatment and so much love from you!  She's very special to all of us.

Jenny, I didn't realize that Bob's problem was so big either.  I must intensify my prayers on his behalf.  Tell him that we all care and are pulling for him.

Now I'm going to go check out the zzzzs.  Maybe I can absorb a few.

Good Afternoon,

Carol and Jenny,  Bradford Pear trees are decorative and do not have fruit that can be eaten. (I'm not sure they have any at all).  They have beautiful white blossoms in the spring and red leathery leaves in the Fall.
At one time, every unit in the complex had one in its front yard and another in the back.  Most of them have weakened over the years and have been replaced.
My son replaced the one in my front yard with a Cleveland Pear, which also blooms in the spring but isn't nearly as pretty.  He replaced the one in the back with a holly tree - shaped kind of like a Christmas tree - has shiny green leaves that stay green all year - and is a good hiding place for the birds that come to the feeder.   It would have red berries if the birds didn't eat them all.

This was "double meeting" day and I'm glad it was sunny and not-quite-as-cold.  Time to go down and get the mail and do my Recliner Radish thing for a while.

Hope Everyfriend Everywhere has had an Enjoyable Day.

Sandy

Best wishes to Keith and Gloria !

Thanks so much for keeping us up to date on
Gloria's stay in the hospital..

You are a good nephew!!!

/Keith, thank you so much for keeping us informed about out precious Gloria de. She is one special lady, as you know. And you are one special Nephew to her. I wish there were more caring young men like you in this world.

Larry, yes, putting the rollator behind the seat of the car will be much easier than in the trunk. I had forgotten you had handled your daughters wheel chair. You are a good man Larry, and I'm glad you and your wife go out for meals more frequently. You certainly deserve the ease of no cooking or clean up.

My son was here today to give us Bible studies. He is very popular and I am proud of his devotion. I came home after class only to find a workman shampooing my carpeting. No one had informed me this would be done, but it looks great. I had to stay out of the Apt. for a couple of hours, but no problem..went for lunch and some wandering of the grounds, then home to a nice long nap.

Jenny, my prayers are with you and Bob during this surgery. My Ed was prone to skin cancer and had special surgery on his temple. It took two hours of taking minute areas of skin till the doctor was content that it was clear. Both of us were worn out from the tension.

Tomorrow they are putting new lighting in our patio dining room downstairs, so we will have lunch and dinner brought to our rooms. That will be a pleasant change. I am getting lazier as each day passes. I must do a grocery order, so tomorrow would be a good day for it.

I found an easy way to boil eggs in the microwave so I will have a couple of eggs and toast for a llight supper tonight.  Had a big lunch downstairs, so the eggs will be just fine.

Gloria I have so enjoyed the description of your snow fall. Being a native born Minnesotan I could actually picture what you were seeing.A rare and beautiful scene.

Janie, I am sure you are having a good and well deserved rest after your busy day at WM. I wish I could work like that again, but my days of labor are definitely a thing of the past. Taking care of me is a full time job.

Time to go eat my boiled eggs and get ready for a quiet evening at home. Good night all and God Bless you. June
As long as we are here, let's dance.
