Oldiesmann: Finally got the AmazonBot situation under control. I basically changed some server settings to tell AmazonBot that it's not allowed to access anything on the site. That should fix the speed issues we've been experiencing lately

Finally, a good night's sleep last night . . .  it really makes a difference.    Now up and dressed, and ready for older daughter Shelley's arrival.  She comes over on Wednesday morning, and helps me with some housework chores that I can no longer do.  Then we sit around and drink coffee, and discuss the latest news . . . of which there is always plenty!  Claire comes with her sometimes, but won't be here today.
I'll return here for more conversation later this  morning . . .

I'm back again after a pleasant visit with Shelley, and Claire.  Claire  did come, and brought us a Water Pie that she baked last night.  Some of you probably remember back during the Covid lockdown,  when we were posting simple recipes here in B&T, that  called for only a few inexpensive ingredients, and were quick and easy to prepare.  Most  of the money saving recipes were old ones from back during the Depression era of the 1930's.  The Water pie was unique, easy to make, and tasted good!  So tonight we will enjoy Claire's for our dessert.

OLM and others who are interested in eliminating dyes, and other chemicals from our foods,  I read an encouraging story today in my daily newspaper.  Kraft/Heinz, is the first major food company to announce changes that have already started being made, to remove all artificial colors from their foods like Kool-aid, Jello, Mac&Cheese, etc.  They're wanting to get an early start in  RFK's movement to  Make America Healthy Again.

I'm here Rick.

Been spending way too much time on the computer today trying to find just the right bedroom furniture, among other things.
