Good Night Everyfriend!

I read everything and I feel like I went to school instead of visiting with friends! There was so much "information" in the passages that I thought I was in class. I know I'm not going to remember all that for the upcoming exam!

Tomorrow, I'll be finishing getting ready to visit my sister. I told Frankie to go straight home and get herself ready and then come an pick up Cooper and me for the trip! She liked that plan! My suitcase is packed and about the only thing left for me to pack is the computer. I figure I'll do that sometime after lunch tomorrow so I won't be on after I pack. I'll try to make a short visit in the morning and that will be it until I get to Margie's and get set up.

I wish you all a peaceful night's sleep and a great day tomorrow! Do as you darn well please. The time is yours. Make it count!

Good morning.

We are heading back into the uncomfortable weather, 44° at the moment.

Picking up a few things in town then getting to do DD again,or still or whatever. The robins have the top half of the Mountain Ash tree bare of berries.

Jane, you and Margie will have a lot of catching up to do.

Good Morning Everyfriend! This will probably be my last entry for a bit. I'm going to be shutting down the computer and packing it up to take with me to my sister's house.

I'm all packed and ready to go! I can hardly wait to spend some time with Margie. We grew up sharing a bedroom and knowing just about everything about each other. When she got married and moved to the Harrisburg area, I really missed her but I loved her new husband. I told him that I always wanted a brother in my life and he was it! I told him I would never call it a brother-in-law! He was my brother! He loved that and he called me his "sister"!

I wish you all a great day! Make it your own in every way! And don't forget to tell us how you did that! We're the curious type!

I'm closing down the computer so I can pack it to go with me to my sister's house. I wish you all well! I do wish I knew who it is who lives in Mechanicsburg. Another busy day here, picking up a half bushel of tomatoes to do down. Once they are done I hope to put the canning pots away!

This week has gone by in a blur it seems. Only 11 more days after today and we are into Oct!

Good morning. It is a pretty morning here but supposed to be very warm today. Summer does not want to give up. Beginning to look like Fall but doesn't feel like it.

I have an Amazon order coming and a grocery order but nothing beyond that. I would like to use up some potatoes so might make some more soup, if David will be my "fetcher".

Good morning

We may have had frost in some areas, our temp is 28° at the moment.
Putting away 24 pints of tomatoes and laundry today...then rest!

Crows are still coming for food and now I even have the neighbour talking to them, Didn't hear the fox last night so maybe it has moved on.

Phyllis , any kind of soup is good,hope you got your "fetcher" to help you. We had scalloped potatoes the other night and I can see the leftovers going into a potato soup.

Better get the day on the go.

Hello Sasha. Long time no see. As you can probably tell our numbers are dwindling. Get the sight fixed. We need you here. I'm getting my eyes checked in a month or so, and I think I have a cataract job pending. One eye has been done. Now the other wants equal treatment.

Good morning.

We had rain overnight as there are puddles in the driveway!!
Busy day yesterday ,more than I wanted. Today is finishing emptying the water tote and get the fish out, that should be entertaining. Will pull all the frosted plants and clean up more trugs.

Rick, peek a boo I see you!! Thank you for holding the fort down. My friend just got his one eye done and is going for the second in Oct. He is so pleased with the results!

Sasha, welcome. Hope you do come back and you can increase the font all you want.

Good Noon Day to you all! It is sunny and 80^o. We are expecting rain this evening.

I've had a lovely lunch of tuna and pasta salad. The company that made the salad uses only tuna that is pole and line caught. The product is certified through GRAEGA which is located in Lugo, Spain. The best I can say about this organization, so far, that their certification if for natural, sustainable products. I can't tell much because the only things I can find are all in Spanish. Anyone know anything about the organization? Just curious since I am unfamiliar with organic and sustainable certifications in other parts of the world.

Rick , can always use rain in short measures. Our grass didn't make a comeback after the dry summer. In some shaded areas it is but the whole front and back yard are burnt.

The tomato plants that were pulled have 1/4 inch thick roots and long on them!! Gathered those and the vines up ready to go to the dumpwhen open. They are still not taking wood/pine needles and once they open that part up more trees/saplings will come down.

Ready to finish off the baking tomorrow...I hope.

Thanks for the rewelcome. There'll be no eye improvement, unless I believe the endless ads on Facebook. Wet AMD left, dry AMD right, and a serving of glaucoma all round.

Two cats left of the millions, and lots of little markers in the yard. Those of you who remember The Living Room (who is now The Other Bedroom) will be pleased to hear that being 80 is treating her reasonably well. It has to: she's the designated driver!

Today they say will be the day autumn strikes us with big-time thunderstorms; this morning we gave in to A/C one last time.

Hope to be less inner-directed next time. TTYS.
